Yes — we welcome both first-time participants and kids with previous runway experience. If your child has modeled before, it will make things easier. But if not, no worries — we’ve already organized 4 major kids' fashion events, and many children walked the runway for the first time with us. Our professional team supports every child through rehearsals, backstage, and showtime to make sure they feel confident, safe, and excited.
No beauty or body standards. We accept kids of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. The only technical factor is height — we need to ensure we have a fitting outfit. Apply early for the best chance to match your child's size before slots fill up.
Not at all. YOUNG FASHION SHOW is not a beauty contest or competition — there are no winners, no judging, and no pressure. Every child is celebrated equally and treated with care, respect, and encouragement. Kids walk the runway in front of an excited, supportive audience that cheers for everyone. This experience often becomes a huge confidence boost — helping kids overcome fears, express themselves, and feel truly proud of who they are. We’ve seen it again and again: even the shyest children leave the show standing taller, smiling wider, and believing in themselves a little more.
Absolutely! Every child receives 1 free guest ticket so a parent or family member can attend the show and watch their special runway moment. After the show, families can also take red carpet photos together to remember the day. If you'd like to invite more guests, additional tickets will be available for purchase.
Absolutely. Our team is fully responsible for your child from the moment they enter backstage until the show ends. We have experienced staff dedicated to helping, supporting, and supervising every step — from fittings to the runway. To help kids feel confident and connect with the team and other young models, we don’t allow parents backstage during the event. However, there will be a designated waiting area nearby where you can stay close and comfortable while your child is getting ready.
Absolutely. Whether your child dreams of modeling or just wants to try something new, the experience is valuable either way. YOUNG FASHION SHOW helps kids grow in confidence, self-expression, teamwork, and presence — skills that stay with them no matter what path they choose.
Like skating or skiing, you don’t need to go pro to enjoy it. For some kids, it’s a great memory. For others, it sparks something bigger.Definitely. Every participant receives a Certificate of Participation, which can be added to applications for private schools, international programs, talent-based scholarships, and even future visa applications such as the EB-1 for individuals with extraordinary ability. Participation in creative extracurricular activities like fashion events is often seen as a strong addition to applications — especially for performing arts schools, gifted & talented tracks, or competitive summer programs. It shows confidence, public presence, and involvement in creative development — qualities that stand out.
Until we reach 300 participants per city. Each show features a different group of kids, so once the spots are filled — registration closes. Based on our experience, the first 100 spots go quickly, as there are plenty of outfit sizes to choose from. After that, it gets harder to match sizes, and many great kids unfortunately miss the chance to walk the runway. We recommend applying early to secure your spot while all size options are still available.
No. Each child takes part in just one city. You can apply for the location that works best for your family — or choose to travel to another city if you'd like. The next show, which is open for registration now, is Miami (April 26th, 2026). Follow us on Instagram to be the first to know when we open applications in other cities near you.
